Thigh High Illusions

Urban Outfitters Faux Super-High Thigh-High Tights (sold out) similar pair here || The Limited Tweed Shorts (sold out) similar pair here || Similar flowy top here || White House Black Market Faux Fur Persian Coat (sold out in stores but I found it online here) || Unisa Iona Pump || Velvet Tassel Clutch (on clearance!) || Similar Tassel Necklace here || Manicure - OPI Apline Snow

It is amazing how a simple accessory can make you feel so sexy, These tights optimize what sexy is - as soon as I put them on, I feel myself walking a different way (like you do in those new pair of heels you've been saving up for forever). These thigh high tights are such a great idea because they give the illusion that you are actually wearing thigh highs without the annoyance of having to worry about them riding down every half hour. These are full length tights, and are so amazing I bought two pair!

I paired the thigh highs with these tweed shorts and a loose, flowy top. I love this top because it is so feminine, and the sleeves have these ruffles on them that really make you feel fancy. Since it is still cool outside, I paired this outfit with my favorite winter coat - it's a Persian coat from White House Black Market. The coat is now sold out but I found one on eBay for you guys and linked it above! This is a perfect date night outfit, or an outfit I would wear to go out with my girlfriends in.

It's Bachelor Monday and I have my wine ready! The last episode before the Women Tell All is always my favorite! Who are you hoping gets the final rose?

Ripped Jeans + Off the Shoulder

Off The Shoulder Sweater || Soho Jeans - Destroyed Legging || Leather Tote || Nude Wedge Pump || Kate Spade Sunglasses (sold out) similar pair here || Lipstick - MAC Rebel || Manicure - OPI Alpine Snow

Happy Saturday, friends! Today was a little too cold for me, but I was hopeful with my outfit. This is one of my favorite outfits to run errands in - it is SO comfy! The jeans i'm wearing are super stretchy, which is perfect for running around in. I am addicted to slouchy, off the shoulder, over-sized shirts during the weekend. I have to dress professional for work, so as soon as the weekend comes I love to "let my hair down" and put on something baggy and comfortable. So, what sounds to be a total "bum" outfit, turns out to be pretty cute! I am always wearing these nude wedges. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and literally go with everything. Also, I can physically run in these bad boys! I'm 5'3 and 3/4 (every inch counts) so I am constantly wearing heels/wedges - anything that makes me taller! With that being said, you will almost never find me in flats - I am not a flats girl.

What does your comfy Saturday outfit look like!?

What's everyone's Saturday night plans? The first season of Fuller House premiered yesterday and I cannot wait to get it started! I think it is so amazing how the cast is reuniting after all these years to bring us this show!

A Little Bit of Lilly

Have you ever dressed the opposite of the weather to brighten up your day? I do this ALL the time. If it is rainy or cloudy, I will make sure my outfit is as bright as possible! It just makes me so happy and makes me forget about the dreariness. I believe Mother Nature gives us cloudy days as a challenge for humans to find ways to brighten it up. My way? Bright clothes! If you don't think of Lilly Pulitzer, what else do you think of?

The print of my Lilly Top is called "Sea Jewels" and is no longer available on the website. I have found a tank top if you love the print here and you can find everything else Lilly here!

This past weekend we took a walk to enjoy what was left over of the warm weather. Sunday we had on and off rain, but the sun managed to come through the clouds from time time! I just recently purchased this Lilly top, and I am SO excited about it. You can do so many things with Lilly, since each one of her pieces make such a huge statement. I also pair this shirt with jeans and boots, white jeans, tuck it into a midi skirt, etc. The possibilities are endless! I must admit though, throwing on a shirt from Lilly Pulitzer makes me yearn for Spring and Summer that much more

I decided to pair my Kate Spade cross body with this outfit since the pink matched so perfectly, but you could easily play this shirt down with a brown bag or clutch.

How do you wear your Lilly?

High Waisted Tie Trousers

Good Evening, everyone! These high-waisted trouser pants from White House Black Market have got to be one of my favorite pairs that I own. You can dress them up and look super sophisticated, or dress them down like I did here with a simple white long sleeve tee. I feel like these pants are very much a statement piece, so playing down my top really makes them stand out (and makes my legs look sky-high!)

Kate Spade Cedar Street Medium Harmony || Similar High Waist Pants here || Similar Polka Dot Pumps here || White House Black Market Long Sleeve Layering Tee (currently Sold Out, similiar one here) || Similar Pearl Drop Earrings here (all New York & Company earrings are on sale for $6 right now!) || Similar Gold Bracelet here ||

My High Waist pants are out of stock at White House Black Market, but I have linked a similar pair for you! As well as my Long sleeve layering tee and Polka Dot Pumps.

I love love love the tie belt on these pants. It really makes the outfit super fun while still looking professional. I paired this outfit with one of my favorite pairs of pumps. I LOVE the black and white polka dot pumps. Can you believe they're not Kate Spade? They were such a steal at DSW, and I couldn't help myself. Every time I wear them in the office I get compliments! These pearl-drop earrings from New York and Company look so elegant, but they don't wear down my ears. I love dangles, but if they're painful that is some pain I will not endure for a day at the office.

This Kate Spade Tote is one of my go-to's during the work week. I love
me a good tote with some structure!

Who's excited for The Bachelor tonight!? I am totally Team Lauren B. (How adorable is she!?)

Giggly in Gingham

Hey guys, and welcome to A Timeless Style! I created A Timeless Style as an outlet for me to share with you what I find to be inspiring and beautiful. I will be documenting my personal sense of fashion, and what timeless style means to me. In my eyes, style is so much more than the shoes you walk in and the jewelry you wear. Style can be found in all shapes and sizes of people, culture, food, music, and more. The clothes come and go, but it's the people and the passion behind the clothes that make them timeless.

In the future, I hope to do a few tutorials including beauty tips and how I keep my hair healthy. My family, friends and God have inspired me to always be myself, and I will be sharing how they've made their mark in my life from time to time. I hope ya'll enjoy this little preview into what makes me, me.

I encourage your feedback, so please don't be afraid to let me know what you think! Your time and support to A Timeless Style mean the world to me.

Thanks for stopping by, and come back as often as you'd like!

If you have any questions or just want some girl talk, please email me at atimelessstyleblog@gmail.com.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hey Everyone and WELCOME to A Timeless Style! I have been going back and forth about starting a Fashion/Lifestyle blog and have finally decided to give it a try. I am so excited to share with you all what makes me so happy.

For my first post, I figured what could be more perfect than GINGHAM. I absolutely love gingham. It may or may not have to do with the fact that I worked at Bath and Body Works for 5 years (you get to wear a gingham apron and are surrounded by gingham wallpaper - whats not to love?)You can dress it up (as shown here) or dress it down. I like to also pair this top with jeans and boots for a casual night out!

This outfit is one of my absolute favorites to wear to work. I'm a country girl, so I feel like I can bring a little bit of the country with me to the office with this outfit.

Today it was 60 degrees and beautiful. It was the perfect opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy a sneak peak of Spring. I am SO ready for Winter to be over, and so happy that Punxsutawney Phil agrees!
