Denim Chambray Dress

Belted Popover Shirtdress // Steve Madden Sandals // Monogrammed Cross Body Clutch // Karen Walker Super Duper Thistle // Lipstick - MAC Rebel // Similar Drop Earrings here // Similar Watch here // Manicure - OPI Alpine Snow

This chambray shirt dress is so comfortable! I love the tie-belt that cinches this dress at the waist to accentuate what I have. I would also replace the tie belt with a skinny brown braided belt and pair this with brown boots for a chillier Spring day, or for a fall look. What is so great about this dress is I can turn it into a country look with some cowgirl boots and the right accessories - and country music concerts are right around the corner! (We're seeing Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney in May!)

I decided to downplay my accessories. I don't like to wear too much jewelry, so I can allow my outfit room for it to speak for itself.

New York and Company has an amazing selection of shirt dresses. I have linked some of my favorites for you guys below. Which one is your favorite?

Ruffle-Front Shirtdress (love this one!)

I hope everyone is as excited for Friday as I am! We have a busy weekend ahead, but it's going to be a fun one!

White Blazer + Ripped Denim

Happy Tuesday, friends! This is one of my go-to outfits for the weekend. It's classic and chic, but also super comfy. These pictures were taken as John and I were headed to Clyde's to catch some of the game on Saturday. These leggings are so comfortable. The material is so stretchy and they are perfect for lounging around in (or dressing up!) This white blazer is one of the staples I come back to every Spring/Summer that has stayed loyal in my closet.

For dinner I tried the Ravioli (didn't disappoint) and John got a burger. This place is right on the water (as shown above) and is a beautiful place for dinner. It can be romantic, or it can be a fun night at the bar! I love coming here in the Summer and sitting outside on a hot night (and the Sunday brunch is a must!)

What's everyone's go-to restaurant?

Lilies + Stripes

Maddie Stripe Skirt (currently on sale for 30% off!) // Similar Pearl Drop Earrings here (you can still find the ones i'm wearing at New York and Company, but they are sold out online!) // Featherweight Long Sleeve Tee // Sam & Libby Pixie Quarter Strap Sandals // Kate Spade New York Medium Harmony Tote // Lipstick - MAC Rebel // Manicure - OPI Alpine Snow

I love, love, love this new midi-skirt from the Eva Mendes line at New York and Company. The hem is a little longer on this skirt than a normally wear, which makes it extra flowy when I walk. The fabric is so comfy, AND it has pockets! I can't ask for much more in an outfit. Anyone that knows me knows that I would pick skirts and dresses over pants any day. Another great thing about this dress is the color scheme; yellow and black together makes for a classic spring ensemble. I love this because there is just the right amount of white in the skirt to keep me from looking like a bumble bee (who wants that?)

I picked up these beautiful yellow lilies from the store over the weekend. I took them to work with me this morning to brighten up my desk. Check out my Snapchat {jaclynkreft} and let me know what you think!

I hope everyone's Monday flew by as fast as mine did!

Belted Bright + Pleated Mint

Similar pleated dress here, here and here // J Crew Petite Denim Jacket in Tyler Wash // Similar pearl drop earrings here // Reversible Faux Leather Tote // Steve Madden Strappy Sandals // Manicure - OPI Alpine Snow //  Lipstick - MAC Rebel // Pandora Mother of Pearl Ring

Happy Easter, everyone! I hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing day full of friends, family, and feasting.

This bright mint pleated dress is perfect for Spring. I topped it off with my favorite denim jacket since it's still a little chilly. I love how this dress flows and makes me feel like a complete girly girl. It's so feminine, and the way it blows when i'm walking makes me feel like i'm Princess Jasmine! This is one of my transition pieces that I like to take into Summer. I didn't get a picture of it here, but the neckline is a halter that is perfect for a hot summer night. I also love how this dress is belted. It looks great cinched at the waist, but I also love to wear it loose and flowy (maybe with a  low bun in my hair for summer). I also love the waterfall skirt on this dress. It makes it so much easier to walk in, (and I don't have to worry about holding it up when I take the stairs). The waterfall hem also makes this look extra feminine and beautiful.

I also like to pair this dress with a cardigan for the office, or maybe even a light white sweater for a day of shopping/brunch with the girls.

How was everyone's weekend and holiday? I was definitely able to catch up on some much needed sleep this weekend, so i'm ready for Monday!
