Bell-Sleeve Shift Dress - Paisley (comes in three different colors and is currently on sale for less than $25!) // Steve Madden Stecy Two-Piece Sandal // Reversible Faux Leather Tote // Similar Pearl Drop Earrings here // Lipstick - MAC Rebel // Manicure - OPI Shorts Story
This blue and white paisley dress is so classic and simple. It reminds me of something Kate Middleton (my fashion icon) would wear. I chose this for the Baptism for Lucas (John's Godson) yesterday. The hem length was perfect for church, and the three-quarter length bell-sleeves were perfect for the weather (and to show off my jewelry)!
I have been eyeing up this dress at New York and Company for a while now (if you haven't noticed already I buy most of my clothes from NY&C). Since I shop there often, I have become really good at knowing when the right time to buy something is, knowing that it will eventually go on sale. I snagged this baby at 60% off the other day - and it's still on sale! Be sure to check out their website - they have a ton of great deals going on right now, and they just extended their 50% off sale!
These nude strappy sandals have become a closet staple for me. I recently picked them up in black and gray, and they go with everything. I have been using this Reversible Leather Tote from Nordstrom all weekend. It's so big, and is perfect for traveling. It also carries my camera nicely and I don't have to worry about it getting damaged. I was able to use it both for the Shower and my trip to Pitt, and it made it so much easier for me to keep everything in one place.
Here are some pictures from my adventures this weekend - a Bridal Shower in Maryland on Saturday, and a Baptism in Pittsburgh on Sunday - busy bee!
I had a blast showering Allison, and we had so much fun meeting Baby Lucas (can I just say how stinkin' adorable the last photo is - i die)! After the Baptism, we went to a place called BRAVO! Cucina Italiana (the cutest italian restaurant I have been to in a while) - and everything was amazing (I got the Grilled Salmon Salad). Sadly, there aren't any in Maryland :( - but it's another reason to visit Pittsburgh again very soon!
Happy Monday, and thank you so much for reading!
